A topical, well scaffolded unit at curriculum level 5 where students develop their creating meaning and making meaning skills by researching and writing a report.
Population pressure, environmental pressure, and pressure on particular species and people groups. Macro-sized contexts right through to the micro. This unit provides angles to suit a wide range of students and gives them choice over the focus of their final research report as well as providing scaffolded, in-context learning on the research process. It also provides annotated exemplars and varied reflection activities at the end of each section.
