The National Library of New Zealand - series of improvements to its Services to Schools.

The National Library of New Zealand is rolling out a series of improvements to its Services to Schools online presence to provide comprehensive access to its services and expertise to further support New Zealand school library staff, educators and others with an interest in libraries, literacy and learning.

The second phase of this rollout has been completed. The National Library has strengthened the connection of its Services to Schools online presence by including it as part of the National Library of New Zealand website ( natlib.govt.nz).

You can access the new home of Services to Schools online presence on the National Library of New Zealand website. Their online presence will continue to grow and change in response to customer feedback and needs, and will be a source of inspiration for the future. The new website is fully responsive for access on mobile devices

The existing Services to Schools website address will be redirected to this new location. The old site will be archived and made available until 26 April 2017 while work is done to migrate more web content to the new website.

For schools wanting to place requests for loans accessing your school’s dashboard to place a loan request remains unchanged. This can continue to be accessed through https://natlib.govt.nz/schools/sign_in

Access to Topic Explorer, our prototype service that helps you find quality, curated resources on a range of topics that inspire and support inquiry, remains available at http://natlib.govt.nz/schools/topics

Later in 2017, there are plans to launch a new online community as part of the continued transformation of our online services. If you have any questions or feedback please contact our library support team on 0800 LIBLINE (542 5463) or by emailing servicestoschools@dia.govt.nz
