Using Inquiry to Plan Secondary English Programmes
A Ministry of Education professional learning module providing guidance, resources and examples to support planning secondary English programmes. The module follows an inquiry model, posing key questions at each stage of the inquiry process and provides resources to support schools in developing local, student centred responses to those questions.
Students’ strengths and needs - whatever level a student has achieved, it is important that teachers recognise what they already know, and can control and build on their expertise in any given learning context.
