Introduction

The tasks in this unit are based around the use of the film When We Were Kings (mainly because of the number of links readily available online). Most, however, are generic tasks that would work equally well with films such as Gaylene Preston's War Stories, Peter Jackson's Forgotten Silver or Sam Neill's Cinema of Unease.

Students need to complete two sequences to fulfil the range statement for this unit standard. This standard assesses individual achievement. In order to provide sufficient evidence for assessment, the last two steps in learning task 3 should be completed individually.
