Assessment

  1. Refer to the internal assessment activity for English 3.7 A Question of Language . Students select language topics and complete independent research. As indicated in the activity, students should propose research questions that expand understandings of their topics, select relevant information from a range of referenced sources, then present well supported findings. They should refer to the exemplars in the activity for further guidance. Their research can be assessed using the assessment schedule at the end of the activity.
  2. The oral presentations could be assessed using the internal assessment activity for English 3.6 Say It On Words . To help plan appropriate delivery techniques, look at exemplars for this activity on the Level 3 NCEA Oral Presentations video.
