Complete the signs (RTF 400KB) . Write a sign for each animal advertising its skills.
Read 'to, with and by' a range of fairy tales.
In pairs, students discuss and role play one of the characters from a favourite fairy tale.
Students draw their favourite character and write why this character was chosen.
In pairs or groups retell a favourite fairy tale.
Brainstorm and build a features (RTF 27KB) .
Investigate the types of fairies in these stories, eg. fairies , gnomes , goblins , witches, pixies , trolls . Students complete a fairy_types (RTF 8KB) where they draw four different types of fairy people from the stories they have read.
