Introduction
Author studies can take place individually, in small groups, or as a whole class. Through this author study, students will learn that the Internet is another resource tool for finding out more about favourite authors and presenting information. Throughout the unit students are to read at least five books or stories in buddy groups or as shared
or independent reading. Record thoughts, questions, favourite quotes, etc. in reading journals.
