The flood

This is an exercise based on the fact that each of us is unique with a different set of values. No two people can see the same situation in exactly the same way.

Scenario

You live in Greymouth and you have just been warned of an oncoming flash flood. You are to evacuate the town for 48 hours as everything left behind, with the exception of the buildings, will be ruined.

You will be allowed to save six (6) items from the following list. You should list them IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE. Sort out your priorities on your own before compiling a group list.

  1. ipod, headphones and batteries
  2. mobile phone
  3. xbox and two games
  4. three favourite books
  5. school books and equipment
  6. t.v. set and dvd player
  7. your pet dog and cat
  1. clothes and shoes
  2. a large box of food
  3. 6 doz bottles of wine
