Refresh of The New Zealand Curriculum – Have your say

Refresh of The New Zealand Curriculum.

From 17 March–12 May we’re seeking further feedback on Te Mātaiaho as a whole, before final release later this year.

In the previous feedback period, some elements were still in development, and we heard from you that further clarity was needed in some areas.

Now, we want you to get a sense of the whole – including the addition of the strengthening your school curriculum elements of Te Mātaiaho, and the obligation to learning through relationships with tangata whenua and local communities.

Keep an eye out for a hard copy of Te Mātaiaho and we encourage you to visit the Curriculum Refresh website – Get involved | Curriculum Refresh (education.govt.nz) – designed to be the one-stop-shop on the Refresh. Here, you can be directed to an online webinar to find out more, find a PDF of the content, videos and implementation supports, and fill out feedback surveys.

The Mathematics & Statistics and English learning areas have also been updated and will be available for use in Term 2.
