DRAFTING THE ROUGH COPY OF THE REPORT: This is where you combine together all the information you have found out from the different sources.

INTRODUCTION [In your introduction say what your topic is, what your key questions are, and why you chose this topic]:

CHECKLIST

Before you hand in your research inquiry project, check that you have:

  • Completed the planning sheet.
  • Completed the research log.
  • Included rough notes of information found from at least 3 different sources.
  • Attached any other rough notes, photocopied or printed source material.
  • Included the rough draft of your report.
  • Attached the good copy of your report (or a printout of your powerpoint) which answers all four focus questions. If you have done a powerpoint also get your teacher to save a copy on her/his flashdrive;
  • Included a bibliography (list of details of all sources used) – this can be part of your report or attached separately.
  • Completed the self-assessments.
